Out of nothing I have come, and to nothing I shall return.

  (I)  Going after what you want.  You da man.  Me first.  Me, me, me.  Grow a pair.  Man up.

(II)  Listening to your inner voice.  Trusting your inner voice.

(III)  Express yourself.  Be creative.  Blah, blah, blah…

(IV)  All in a day’s work.  Just doin’ my job.  Get to work!  Where hands are needed words and letters are useless.  Down to earth.  Salt of the earth.  Cleanliness is next to godliness.  Neat & tidy.  A place for everything and everything in its place.  Every last detail…

  (V)  All knowledge is experience.  Try it – you’ll like it.  Variety is the spice of life.  A jack of all trades and a master of none.  All over the road.

(VI)  Live and let live.  Getting along with others.  Treating friends like family.

  (VII)  Silence is golden.

(VIII)  Having both feet firmly planted on the ground.  Both feet on the floor.  Having a strong foundation.  Climbing to the top of the mountain.  Elevation in status.  You cannot climb a ladder by pushing others down.  Social climber.  Status seeking.

(IX)  Wise up!  Heed wisdom.  Sage advice.  Pearls of wisdom.  Wisdom sets you apart.  A wise man’s questions contain half the answer.  Why me?  Ask “Why not me?” instead of “Why me?”

  (X)  Go with the flow.  Opportunity knocks.  Seize the opportunity.  Window of opportunity.  There is a time and place for everything.  Odds and ends.  Something for nothing.  It’s on the house.  Roll the dice.  Take your chances.  Things fall into place.  Destiny is not a matter of chance, it’s a matter of choice.  When luck offers a finger, one must take the whole hand.  Wheel of fortune.  You’ll never know your luck ’til the wheel stops.  What’s bad luck for one is good luck for another.  Rock, paper, scissors.  Luck of the draw.  Roll with the punches.  A turn for the better/worse.  Ups and downs.  You win some, you lose some.  Twist of fate.  Reversal of fortune.  Easy come, easy go.  Luck and bad luck are driving in the same sledge.

(XI)  Be fair.  Cause and effect.  You get what you deserve, and you deserve what you get.  Fair is fair.  Fair and balanced.  Fair and equitable.  Balancing the scales.  Fair means produce fair results.  We who seek justice will have to do justice to others.  Justice is served.  Out for justice.  What’s good for the goose is good for the gander.  Justice is swift and certain.  Justice becomes injustice when it makes two wounds on a head which only deserves one.  That’s not fair.  Settling the score.  An eye for an eye and a tooth for a tooth.  Justice is uncompromising.

(XII)  Seeing is believing.  Thy Will be done.  Faith makes you act in different ways.  Putting your faith in God.  Let go and let God.  If God brings you to it, then God will bring you through it.  In God we trust.  Act of faith.  Leap of faith.  Faith of Job.  Suspending doubt.  Suspending disbelief.  A true believer.  I know God won’t give me anything I can’t handle, I just wish God didn’t trust me so much.  To one who has faith, no explanation is necessary; to one without faith, no explanation is possible.  In faith there is light enough for those who want to believe and enough shadows to blind those who don’t.  Faith isn’t faith ’til it’s all you’re holding on to.  Faith means belief in something concerning which doubt is possible.  Having one foot in both worlds.  Wait and see.  I’ll believe it when I see it.  When in doubt, do nothing.  Looking for a sign.  Show me a sign.  If one’s gift is prophesying, then let it be used in proportion to one’s faith.  Self-fulfilling prophecy.  What was up is down.  Ye of little faith.

(XIII)  Things change.  Out with the old and in with the new.  If nothing changes, then nothing changes.  Time marches on.  Major changes.  Drastic changes.  Create/preserve/destroy.  Change is the only constant.  Level it.  Skull and crossbones.

(XIV)  All things in moderation (including moderation).  Having appeal.  Sex drive.  Sexual energy.  It takes all types.  To be able to live among people we must allow everyone to exist with their own given individuality.  Somewhere in between lies the happy medium.  Moderation and diversity is the best diet.  Having an appetite for.  Nothing tastes as good as skinny feels.  Portion size.  Weight loss/gain.  On a diet.  Slim down.  I’m watching my weight.  Weight Watchers.  Plus sized.

(XV)  It pays to advertise.  Product placement.  Keep your receipt.  Want a thing long enough, and you don’t.  The ways of the world.  The bottom line.  Supply & demand.  For rent.  For sale.  The going rate/price.  Money talks.  Sex sells.  Sex worker.  Selling your body.  Money for sex, and sex for money.  Money is amoral.  For whose advantage?  What will it profit a man if he gains the whole world, but loses his soul?  Money is the root of all evil.  Treasures of wickedness profit nothing.  Selling out.  Selling your soul.  Making a deal with the devil.  Paying the devil his due.  Everyone has their price.  Money will do most anything for people, and people will do most anything for money.  Anything for a buck.  Bought and paid for.  The borrower is slave to the lender.  Those who are bound by desire seek only that which can be held in their hands.  Idle hands are the devil’s workshop.  Do what thou wilt.  Animal nature.  The nature of the beast.  Law of the jungle.  Needs must when the devil drives.  Caveat emptor (Let the buyer beware).  Bait and switch.  Nickel-and-dimed.  Good things sell themselves, bad things have to be advertised.  The art of being a merchant consists more in getting paid than in making sales.  Being taken advantage of.  War profiteering.  War is hell.  Let those who do not know what war is go to war.  Lies are the path to war.  The wages of sin are war.  Trade wars.  Human trafficking.  Black magic.  Devil’s horns.

(XVI)  Be careful.  Safety first.  Expect the unexpected.  Anything can happen.  Predictably unpredictable.  Never shout never.  All of a sudden.  In a flash.  In an instant.  From out of nowhere.  Bolt out of the blue.  Shock to the system.  A real eye opener.  Blown away.  Freedom from the known.  Going where no one has ever gone before.  Life-altering experiences.  In the presence of the divine.  A god among men.  Touched by God.  The Hand of God.  Life review.  Out-of-body experiences.  Divine correction.  Act of God.  I am God.  God is God.  Getting right with God.  A phone call from God.  If you get a phone call from God, you just might turn into a burning bush.  Putting the fear of God in you.  Drop you to your knees.  Thunder and lightning.  Lightning rod.  Out loud.  Shut up.  Shhh!!!  Thou shall not take the name of the Lord in vain.  Profaning the sacred.  There are limits.  Know your limits.  Overstepping your boundaries.  Peaks need valleys.  Rise so high, so far to fall.  How the mighty have fallen.  The higher the castle, the nearer to lightning.  In harm’s way.  On accident.  Accidents will happen.  Seeing your life flash before your eyes.  God forbid.

(XVII)  Reach for the stars.  Rising star.  The power of positive thinking.  A breath of fresh air.  Making miracles happen.  Guiding light.  Guiding star.  Spiritual insight.  Stay positive.  There’s always hope.  Hope springs eternal.  Gazing the stars.  Water walker.  Things are never as bad as they seem to the pessimist and never as good as they seem to the optimist.  Hope is a good breakfast but a bad supper.  A pessimist is a person who has lived with an optimist.  Health issues.

(XVIII)  Using art as an outlet for your creative energies.  Past-life memories.  Past-life regression.  In a previous incarnation.  The power of suggestion.  Hypnotic suggestion.  Deep inside your mind.  In the back of your head.  The Twilight Zone.  Taking a trip down the rabbit hole.  Figment of your imagination.  Don’t make no sense.  Art is the concealment of art.  A beautiful disorder is an effect of art.  To sleep, perchance to dream.  Beyond your wildest dreams.  Having an active imagination.  Casting a spell.  In the dark of night.  Dark shadows.  Dark matter.  Wild eyes.  Howl at the moon.  You’re out of your mind.  Got a screw loose.  Losing all your marbles.  Going bonkers.  Crazy making.  Driving me crazy.  This is nuts.  Trippin’.  Out of proportion.  Unimagined horrors.  Things that go bump in the night.  Evil spirits.  Exorcise the demons.  Seeing things.  Hearing voices.  Insane asylum.

(XIX)  Just shine!  It’s my time to shine.  Front and center.  At the center of it all.  Achieving success.  Long lasting.  Hard earned success.  Proud of what you have achieved.  Make hay while the sun shines.  Sunshine is the best disinfectant.  Coming to light.  Seeing the light of day.  The sun rises in the east.  Sun will shine.  Get some sunshine.  Hey there, Sunshine!  Look at what I can do.  Look mom – no hands!  Solar eclipse.  Solar flares.  Solar prominence.  Even in the sun there are spots.

(XX)  Follow your conscience.  A clear conscience fears no accusation.  Trust but verify.  Judge for yourself.  You be the judge.  Summary judgement.  Sum it up.  Up from the ashes.  Even the dead shall rise.  Raise the dead.  Resurrect the dead.  Sudden death.  Life after death.  Second chances.  A clear conscience never fears midnight knocking.  ‘Fess up.  Come clean.  Conscience warns us before it reproaches us.  Conscience is like tickling, some fear it and some don’t.  Men never forgive those in whom there is nothing to pardon.  Tough call.  Too close to call.  Judge not lest thee be judged yourself.  Pounding the gavel.  Admission of guilt.  Case dismissed.  Trials and tribulations.  Blowing the whistle.  Pulling the plug.  Time is running out.  The end times.  The end is near.  Day of reckoning.  Casting judgement.  Contempt of court.  Verdict first, then the trial.  Judge, jury and executioner.  Death sentence.

(XXI)  Seeing the big picture.  Putting it all together.  Connecting the dots.  Thumbnail sketch.  A bird’s eye view.  Mountain top perspective.  In the bigger scheme of things.  Seeing your place in the world.  Seeing where things stand in the fullness of time.  How the world sees things.  Stepping onto the world stage.  For all the world to see.  Body-mind-spirit.  As above, so below.  Circle of life.  Life is for the living.  The human condition.  Human nature.  Timeless classic.  Universally appreciated.  Everybody comes from some place.  Many lives, many masters.  The whole is greater than the sum of the parts.  Cosmic rays.  Human error.  To err is human.  Only human.  Get a life.

(XXII)  Look before you leap.  Good luck.  You’ve got to be kidding me.  Are you kidding me?  No foolin’?  Are you joking?  Just joking.  The joke is on me/you/them.  Just kidding.  It was just a joke.  Only a joke.  Fools rush in where angels fear to tread.  If ignorance is bliss, ’tis folly to be wise.  The circus is in town when the clowns show up.  Like a three-ring circus.  There’s a sucker born every minute.  A fool and his money are soon parted.  Making me look silly.  Making a fool of yourself.  Fools seldom differ.  He must be a thorough fool who can learn nothing from his own folly.  A fool always finds someone more foolish than himself to admire him.  Fools as we met, so fools again we parted.

(King of Wands)  Just do it!  Leading the way.  Taking the lead.  Leader of the pack.  A real go-getter.  Physical activity.  Being your own boss.  Getting in shape.

(Queen of Wands)  My body is a temple.  Cleaning house.  Cleaning up your act.  Getting cleaned up.  Clean sweep.  Pure and natural.  Go organic.  Eating healthy.  Food safety.  Chew your food.  Brushing your teeth.  Floss your teeth.  Dental hygiene.  Pearly whites.  Taking charge.  Who’s in charge here?  I’m in charge.  The power behind the throne.  Take the vow.  Saving it for marriage.  Put some clothes on.  Keep your clothes on.  Wearing the pants in the family.  Ruling the roost.  Ruling with an iron fist.  The hammer comes down.  Chew on this.  Food allergies.  Tap out.  Bow out.  The emperor has no clothes.

(Knight of Wands)  On the go.  Adventures are to the adventurous.  Advancing a cause.  Advancing the cause.  Rooting for the underdog.  Change of residence.  Not in one place for long.  Can’t sit still.  Having to change location.

(Page of Wands)  Let’s talk.  Call me.  Pep talk.  Good looks.  Looking good.  Beauty draws more than oxen.  A bird with a beautiful plumage doesn’t sit in the corner.  Look at me.  The face came before the photograph.  A picture is worth a thousand words.  Beautiful hair.  Pretty boy.  Public address.  Public announcement.  Make publicly known.  Good call.  Good news.  Good press.  Those who bring good news knock hard.  No news is good news.  News reports.  In the news.  Multimedia journalist.  Post office.  Postage stamps.  Bad news.

(Ace of Wands)  Take the initiative.  Taking the first step.  Get started.  Getting started.  Start it up.  It’s a start.  First step.  Making the first move.  Making your move.  No harm in trying.  Do what you will, but be the first.  First impressions.  Brand new.  New and improved.  Done right.  Done correctly.  Doing it right.  Do me right.  All the right moves.  New moves.  Start from the beginning.  Getting a head start.  Out of the chute.  On your mark, get set, GO!  “And they’re off…”  Off and running.  You gotta start somewhere.  New start.  New beginning.  Fresh start.  Starting over.  Blank slate.  Turning over a new leaf.  Putting the moves on.  Thick hair.  Not just a one-hit wonder.  Room for improvement.  All talk and no action.  One-hit wonder.  Short-lived bursts of extreme enthusiasm.  Overly enthusiastic.  Gung ho.  Exclamation point.  Acting out of character.  Not being yourself.  Jumping the gun.  False start.  False alarms.  False positive.  This is only a drill.  Doing me wrong.  Failure to launch.

(Five of Pentacles)  Gainfully employed.  You’re hired.  The office.  Rags to riches.  Waste not, want not.  Having a roof over your head.  Fix-it shops.  Cobble together.  Economic hardship.  Material troubles.  Enduring hardship.  Doing without.  Going without.  Toughing it out.  Making due.  Tough times.  Hard times.  Economic downturn.  Out in the cold.  Exposure to the elements.  Spare change?  Low income.  You’re fired.  Laid off.  Unemployment compensation.  Workplace injury.  Broken bones.  It’s not so bad to fall in the gutter, but it’s worse to lay there.  Hard luck story.  Stinking bum.  Trash can.  Take out the trash.  Garbage in, garbage out.  Throw away.  Kick it to the curb.  Dumpster diving.  Throw the bums out.  Hungry bellies have no ears.  There are none so deaf as those who will not hear.  I’m starvin’.  Burning down the house.  House fire.

(Six of Pentacles)  Share wisely.  Giving to those who deserve.  We want more.  Heart of gold.  Gift giving.  Give with discretion, accept with memory.  The gifts you have been given.  The gift carries the giver.  The gift that keeps on giving.  Gifts with strings attached.  It is better to give than to receive.  Give it away.  Economic disparity.  Sense of entitlement.  Objects of charity.  Penny wise, pound foolish.  Spreading the wealth.  Folks is mighty generous with money they ain’t got.  Purse-proud.  Less than charitable.

(Seven of Pentacles)  Calm down.  Be patient.  Patience is a virtue.  You reap what you sow.  Plant the seed you have.  Sowing your seed.  Looking for the day when you receive the fruits of your labor.  Don’t anticipate.  Rome was not built in a day.  I can’t wait.  More trouble than it’s worth.  Heavy losses.  Conspiracy theories.  No one is out to get me.  Out to get you.

(Eight of Pentacles)  Be efficient.  Going directly from point A to point B.  The shortest distance between two points is a straight line.  Get the job done.  Getting things done.  Get ‘r done.  Crank it out.  Knockin’ ‘em down.  Getting things lined up.  Getting all your ducks in a row.  Conveyor belt.  Running a tight ship.

(Nine of Pentacles)  What I’ve been praying for.  Pray on the matter.  Now what?  What do I do next?  Hands pressed together.  Alone with your wealth.

(Ten of Pentacles)  Be wealthy.  Build vast family wealth.  Accumulation of wealth.  Changing your financial family tree.

Anger management.  When in anger, say the alphabet.  Righteous anger.  Reading the riot act.  Coming down from the mountain.  Getting mad.  Mad as hell.  Going off.  Going ballistic.  Getting on one’s high horse.  Ranting and raving.  It’s all the rage.  Fire and brimstone.  Holy terror.  God’s wrath will be felt in an instant.  Putting the fear of God in you.  Going on a rampage.  I’m as mad as hell…

Dealing with the aftermath.  What are you going to do about it?  Getting dropped.  The other shoe is about to drop.  The other shoe drops.  Stone cold.  Zero signal.  I am numb.  I’ve got nothing left for nobody else.  None but my own.

Filled with the Holy Spirit.  When the spirit moves me.  Moved by the Holy Spirit.  Picking up where you left off.

Jackpot!  The winning ticket.  Winning the lottery.  The winning lottery ticket.  Hitting the jackpot.  The key that is going to open a door to a fortune.  Jumping to conclusions.

A call for justice.  Calling the police.  Calling the cops.  Civil disobedience.

Get going for work.  Headed for work.  Leaving for work.  Walk out.  Abandoning work.  I don’t have to work.  Not having to work.  Getting out of work.  On call.  Off duty.  Asked to leave work.  Not working.  It’s not working.  Doesn’t work.  Quit working.  Stopped working.

One step closer.  All we are is dust in the wind.  Rest in peace.  Ashes to ashes, dust to dust.  Laid to rest.  Pushing up daisies.  Shuffling off this mortal coil.  We are born dying.  Cradle to grave.  Now I lay thee down.  This too shall pass.  Don’t plan the funeral ’til the body dies.  Don’t fear the reaper.  Taking it to your grave.  Bury your dead.  Dead body.  Forensic science.  Human remains.  Cause of death.  Manner of death.

A deep well of serene water.  Sex education.  Sex educator.  Highly paid for being sexy.  High priced liaisons.

The trappings of wealth.  The Great Gatsby.

Overcoming greed & illicit relationships.  Declaring bankruptcy.

Visually inspiring.  Visually appealing.  Nice to look at.  Easy on the eyes.  Nice scenery.

Where it begins, there it ends.  Putting an end to it.

Being in the right place at the right time.  Jumping on the bandwagon.  Being in the wrong place at the wrong time.

Legal dealings.  Legal process.  Legal proceedings.  Attorney General.  Court settlement.  Plea bargain.  Restraining order.  Restorative justice.  Human rights.  Obstruction of justice.  Perverted justice.  Police brutality.

Making the best of a worst-case scenario.  Make the best of it.  When life gives you lemons, make lemonade.  Making the worst of a best-case scenario.

Airing grievances.  All good things come to an end.  Not knowing what you want.  I don’t know what I want.  Oh no!  Sour grapes.

Getting others to overcome their self-interest.  It’s all about you.  Clean energy.  Green energy.

Ethical money making.  Better is a little with righteousness than great revenues without right.

Be humble or be humbled.  Being put in your place.  I am no one.  I am nothing.  Of little importance.  Going unmentioned.  Overcoming intellectual pride.  You think you’re so smart.  Who do you think you are?  Nothing to lose.  When people have nothing to lose, they lose it.  Ability to laugh at yourself.  Reduced to ash.  Made to bow low before the Lord.  ”…for everyone who exalts himself will be humbled, and he who humbles himself will be exalted.”  Lowest of the low.

Audibly inspiring.  Inspiring to listen to.  Nice to listen to.  Easy listening.

Space is the final frontier.  Out of this world.  Way out there.

I stand alone.  I make my own destiny.  Choosing your own destiny.  Making your own way.  Going it alone.  An army of one.  Last one standing.  1 versus all.  Taking on everyone.  You and what army?
